The short version: no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Here's everything this site keeps, and why.
If you sign up for emails We keep your name, email address, city, country and postal code (city and postal code only if you give them), and when you confirmed. Knowing roughly where you are means we can tell you about a night or a record that's near you, instead of sending everyone everything. It lives in this site's own database, not with a mailing company. Every email has a link that takes you off the list in one tap.
If you write to us The contact form keeps your name, email address and message, so we can answer. It's sent to us by email and kept on this site.
If you listen or look The music, video and photos are delivered by Bunny.net, a European content network. Like any server, it sees your IP address so it can send you the file. The player remembers your place in a track inside your own browser, so it can pick up where you left off. That never leaves your device.
If you send photos or video from a night You tick a box saying Anthrophonic can show them on that night's page, with your credit. We keep the files, the name you give (if any), the time you agreed, and a scrambled copy of your IP address that only exists to stop spam. The files are stored on Bunny.net. Nothing goes on the page until we've looked at it, and anything comes down if you or the players ask.
If you have an account Signing in sets the standard WordPress login cookies. They're the only cookies here, and only while you're signed in. Sign-in attempts are logged with the IP address and browser, to keep accounts safe.
Your data, your call Want to see what we have, fix it, or have it deleted? Use the contact form and it's done within 30 days, usually much sooner. Anthrophonic is run by Casey O'Brien in Budapest. If you're in the EU and not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in Hungary, that's NAIH).
